Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – In June 2024, Uzbekistan ranked fifth in terms of apple exports to Russia, according to Rosselkhoznadzor.
The agency noted that in June, Russia imported a total of 42 thousand tons of apples from abroad, which is 1.8 times more compared to the same period last year.
Türkiye became the main supplier of apples to the Russian market with shipments totaling 9,700 tons. South Africa and Serbia followed with 7,200 tons and 6,400 tons respectively. China ranked fourth with 4,200 tons. Uzbekistan occupied the fifth place with 1,700 tons.
