Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the Asian Weightlifting Championship in Tashkent, the performances of weightlifters in the -109 kg weight category ended. 

Two of our representatives, Ruslan Nurudinov and Sharofiddin Amriddinov, entered the uncompromising fight for the continental champion title.

As a result, victory was on the side of Nurudinov. Based on the results of the clean and jerk (207 kg), as well as gaining a total of 382 kg, Ruslan Nurudinov won two gold medals. Sharofiddin Amriddinov, who showed the best result in the snatch exercise, lifted 205 kg in the clean and jerk and won silver.

Also, based on the results of the double event (381 kg), Amriddinov received another silver award.
