Robert Fuderich becomes head of UNICEF office in Uzbekistan

New UNICEF Representative in Uzbekistan Mr. Robert Fuderich presented his credentials to the Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

During the meeting, the sides considered issues of implementation joint projects in sphere of healthcare, education and other socially important areas. They also discussed perspective areas of cooperation.

It was noted that the sides are interested in successful implementation of the country programme for 2010-2015 with total financial commitment for US$42.2 million and further developing partnership between Uzbekistan and the UNICEF.
