Roads in Uzbekistan named as safest in Central Asia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Roads in Uzbekistan were named as the safest in Central Asia, according to the website Roads Kill Map of Pulitzer Center.

According to the Center, about 11.3 people per 100,000 citizens are killed in the result of the road accidents in average in Uzbekistan.

Pulitzer Center said that he figure makes up 21.9 people per 100,000 citizens in Kazakhstan, 19.2 people in Kyrgyzstan and 18.1 people in Tajikistan.

The most dangerous roads in the world are in Venezuela (37.2 persons per 100,000 citizens), Nigeria (33.7) and Iran (34.1).
