Revenue of Beeline in Uzbekistan makes up $130m in 3Q
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Revenue of Beeline in Uzbekistan fell by 22.9% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2017 – to US$130 million, VEON said in its statement.

At the same time, the company’s revenue in the first nine months of 2017 made up US$436 million, which is 12.5% less than in the same period of 2016.

The company’s revenue in soums rose in nine months of 2017 by 18.3%% to 1.71 trillion soums and in the third quarter - by 24.4% to 625 billion soums.

Revenue in mobile services segment reached US$129 million in the third quarter of 2017 compared to US$168 million in the same period of 2016.

The revenue from data transfer in the reporting made up US$31 million in the third quarter of 2017 against US$38.3 million in the same period of 2016.

EBITDA (Operating Income before Depreciation and Amortization) in Uzbekistan made up US$66 million in the third quarter of 2017, which fell by 30.9% compared to the same period of 2016.

EBITDA was US$228 million in nine months of 2017, which is 21.4% less compared to the same period in 2016.

At the same time margin of transactions fell from 96% to 67% in the third quarter of 2017. In nine months of 2017, the indicator tell from 290% to 228%.

Beeline subscribers’ base in Uzbekistan by the end of the third quarter of 2017 made up 9.5 million people, which decreased by 0.1% year-on-year. Number of users of data transfer services makes up 4.7 million subscribers in the third quarter of 2017 against 4.5 million people in the same period of 2016 (+5,1%).

Average bill for a mobile subscriber per month (ARPU) made up US$4.5 in the third quarter of 2017 against US$5.9 in the same period of 2016.

Indicator MOU (minutes of use) reached 581 minutes in the reporting period compared with 580 minutes in the same period of 2016.
