Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A seminar organized by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) took place in Uzbekistan, focusing on the development of the country’s migration strategy.

The event was attended by senators, representatives from various ministries and agencies, members of the working group under the Senate, as well as international experts and specialists from Uzbekistan and other countries.

During the seminar, information was presented on the results of the first phase of the strategy development. Participants discussed issues related to its implementation and exchanged views on key aspects.

Members of the working group emphasized that the proposals and recommendations generated during the discussions will play an important role in further improving Uzbekistan’s migration strategy project.
