Republican Youth Competition for Software Development launched in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development of Uzbekistan announced about launch of the Republican youth contest on software development “Best Soft Challenge-2017”.

The main objective of the contest is to support young people, who are able to work in the field of design and programming, using various computer programs, as well as providing talented young programmers with the opportunity to realize their intellectual potential.

The contest is open for young people up at the age of 25. The groups of three people can participate in the context.

Some changes were made to the format of the Contest this year. Earlier, the Contest participants presented ready-made software solutions and received monetary compensation for them, this year the jury can also submit projects and ideas on nominations.

Winners will be defined in four areas: 1. "Smart City" 2. Computer and mobile games 3. The best project in the sphere of trade and services 4. Innovative idea in the field of ICT

Sponsors of the Best Soft Challenge 2017 Competition, - UZINFOCOM Center, Uzbektelecom and HUAWEI, will award winners with valuable prizes.

The contest will be held in three stages:

1st stage: from August 3 to October 16, 2017 - registration of participants; 2nd stage: from 18 to 27 October 2017 - preliminary selection (determination of finalists); 3rd stage: from 1 to 10 November 2017 - final selection (determination of winners).

Registration of participants and their projects will be carried out via the website Software.uz online.

To evaluate projects, the jury members will be guided by the following criteria: relevance, originality, technological solution of the project, convenience of the interface and its use.
