Republican school of young entrepreneurs takes place in Tashkent

The Republican school was held at Sayohat Hotel in Tashkent on 13-18 May 2013. During the event, the participants studied to do business and presented their business plans. At the end of the event, they received certificates and soft loans to develop their own business.

The programme has been held in Uzbekistan since 2008 and it helps young entrepreneurs to improve their knowledge on doing business. In 2013, some 2,000 applications were received to participate at the school and 80 of them qualified to the national stage.

The project is organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Microcreditbank and others.

During a year, the participants studied the legislative base of doing business, licensing process, soft crediting, etc. They also learned to forecast cash inflow, business planning, accounting basics, taxation and others.

The participants presented their business plans and fifteen of them received prizes. Some of them will also receive soft loans.
