Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on the approval of an international treaty.
The head of Uzbekistan, by his resolution, approved an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Russian Federation on the opening of representative offices of the customs services of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
The agreement was signed on 2 December 2022 in the city of Samarkand following the meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of government of Uzbekistan and Russia.
The President designated the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance as the competent authority responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to send the Russian side an appropriate notification on the implementation by the Republic of Uzbekistan of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the said international treaty, as well as the competent authority responsible for its implementation.
