Reports: Arsenal plans to sign Anzhi midfielder Odil Ahmedov for 4m euros

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- London’s Arsenal is planning to buy a midfielder of Uzbekistan national team and Anzhi Makhachkala Odil Ahmedov in summer transfer window, Russia’s Izvestia reported.

According to the report, the management of London club is ready to pay 4 million euros to Anzhi for Uzbek midfielder.

The report said that the offer of British club is below market price of the player. According to Transfermarkt.de, the market price of Ahmedov is 6 million euros.

It added that Arsenal hopes that management of Anzhi will not try to prevent move of Ahmedov to England as player wants to play in one of the strongest European leagues.
