Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan approved regulations for a number of republican contests, the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan said.

In particular, the Government approved provisions:

- on order of organization and conduct of the republican review competition Performers of folk musical instruments;

- on procedure for organizing and conducting the Republican review competition of National Dance Performers named after Mukarrama Turgunboeva;

- on procedure for organizing and conducting the republican review competition “Young singers of the maqom named after Yunus Rajabi”.

According to these regulations, approved by the resolution, the conditions for the participation and holding of each of the competitions are defined.

Winners of competitions in each direction are awarded a diploma, a statuette and a cash bonus in the amount of from 20 to 40 minimum wages.

In addition, in accordance with the regulations, the winners of the competition Young maqom performers, the winners in the maqom ensemble nomination are awarded in the appropriate order in the amount of 50 to 70 minimum sizes of salary.

Responsible for organizing and conducting competitions is the Ministry of Culture.
