Refinancing rate in Uzbekistan kept at 14% APR - CBU

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan kept refinancing rate at the level of 14% APR. The bank’s board adopted a resolution on 17 October 2009, the Central Bank said in a press release on 4 November 2009.

In line with the resolution, the refinancing rate set at 14% APR. The bank said the refinancing rate was not changed based on main directions of monetary policy for 2009 and actual and expected inflation rate.

The Central Bank reviewed refinancing rate last time on 4 August 2009 and kept it at 14% APR level.
