The championship was organized by Uzbekistan Chiefs’ Association, Ministry of Culture and Sport, Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city administration, Committee on religious affairs, JAR Sport-Complex, Golden Hill restaurant and Utgan Kunlar tea house.
The championship was attended by professional butchers of supermarkets, shops, wholesale bases and meat centers, as well as butchers from bazaars of Tashkent.
The competition was held in two stages. In the first stage, they prepared ship for cutting and they should carry out all rituals. In the second stage, they should show their skills in the culinary butchering.
Jury of the championship rated works of the butchers on seven parameters, including cleanness of work, technological sequence of work, theoretical knowledge, etc.
Korzinka.uz butchers Rahimjon Jalilov and Hayrilla Azimov won the first place of the championship. Sharifiddin Ganiev (Kassob - Service) took second place and won the title of “The most skilled butcher”. Abzaljon Yoldashev got third place and the title of “The traditional butcher”.
The winners received gifts and certificates along with the participants of the master classes, organized within the contest. The cooks prepared meals from the meat and the participants had chance to taste the meals.
