Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly interested in signing Abdulkodir Khusanov, a defender for Lens and the Uzbekistan national team, according to Foot Mercato.

Luis Campos, PSG’s sporting advisor, has held talks with representatives of the 20-year-old player. Khusanov joined Lens in the summer of 2023 from Belarusian club Energetik-BGU for a modest fee of €100,000. Since then, his career has taken a remarkable leap, with the defender making 27 appearances for the French club and drawing attention from top European teams.

Despite PSG’s interest, Lens management is reportedly unwilling to sell the promising young player. Khusanov’s transfer value is now estimated at €20 million.

Previously, English clubs Arsenal, Everton, and Newcastle United were also reported to be eyeing the rising star from Uzbekistan.
