Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov met with Neil Adam, the regional manager of the British company Ethos Energy, Dunyo news agency reported.

Ethos Energy provides service maintenance for gas and steam turbines, generators, and transformers in the energy sector, as well as repairs compressors, turbines, generators, and engine components in the oil and gas sector. The company operates in more than 40 locations worldwide, including the USA, UAE, Poland, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and other countries.

During the meeting, it was noted that the long-term development strategy of the oil and gas, electric power, coal, chemical, and construction industries aims to ensure stable economic growth of the republic and improve the population’s standard of living through continuous satisfaction of fuel and energy resource needs.

Neil Adam expressed satisfaction with being acquainted with the reforms underway in Uzbekistan’s energy sector.

An agreement was reached to explore prospects for cooperation in enhancing energy efficiency in economic sectors and the social sphere, wide adoption of energy-saving technologies, and renewable energy sources.
