Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fund Forum, Social Initiatives Support Fund, Republican Charity Fund “Mahalla”, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Trade Unions Federations’ Council of Uzbekistan, Mehr Nuri Public Fund, Women’s council, Kelajak Ovozi Youth Initiatives Center, Center for studying public opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr”, National Association of Electronic Mass Media initiated a new project “Forum of socially responsible citizens of Uzbekistan”.

The project is aimed at creating interactive system on supporting socially responsible citizens and small businesses, grant receivers and regional activists of the project to expand voluntary participation in social programmes and projects as partners, etc.

The main element of project implementation will be Information Centers for Social Support. They will receive applications, hold polls and monitoring of given task, render consulting services, and others. The centers will interact with participants via special website, call-centers, meetings, seminars, and brainstorming.

National Public Council will gather information from local centers and develop programmes on support of regions, initiatives monitoring on set topics, participate in development of socially important laws, etc.

The project will be financed due to resources of its partners, participants and sponsors.
