Prime Minister of Uzbekistan to visit Kyrgyzstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov will visit Osh (Kyrgyzstan) on 18 December 2018. It was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Muhammedkalyy Abylgaziyev, the second meeting of the Council of Heads of the Border Regions of Uzbekistan and plenipotentiaries of the Government of Kyrgyzstan in the border areas will be held in Osh on 18 December 2018.

During the second meeting of the Council, it is planned to discuss the development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the regions of the two countries.

The Council was established in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the establishment of a Council of Plenipotentiaries of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in border areas and hokims of border areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed in Bishkek during the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 5-6 September 2017, with the aim of developing contacts at the interregional level and expanding cooperation between border astyami two countries.
