Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chinese company BYD has introduced its new electric vehicle, the BYD Yuan Up, in Uzbekistan. The model was presented in Tashkent.

The BYD Yuan Up made its debut in the Chinese market in March 2024. This budget electric crossover is built on the e-Platform 3.0.

Its design features the signature BYD Dragon Face style, including plastic body cladding, large bumpers, and door handles that are integrated into the body. The look is completed by darkened rear pillars.

The dimensions of the BYD Yuan Up are 4310 x 1830 x 1675 mm, with a wheelbase of 2620 mm. It is slightly larger than the Chevrolet Tracker and Hyundai Creta. Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a rotating 12.8-inch display, and the instrument panel measures 8.8 inches.

The Yuan Up’s powertrain in China is available in two options: the base version is equipped with a 95 hp electric motor, while the more powerful version offers 177 hp. The range varies from 301 to 401 km according to the CLTC cycle, depending on the type of traction battery.

In Uzbekistan, the Yuan Up will be sold with a 177 hp powertrain and a range of up to 401 km.

During the presentation, it was also announced that the price of the BYD Yuan Up in Uzbekistan will be 266.7 million soums.
