Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan hold talks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov today, on 13 June, met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The heads of the two states discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed measures to increase trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and cross-border cooperation, the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reported.

President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation in all areas of bilateral relations.
