Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

According to the press service of the head of Kazakhstan, during the conversation, the leaders of the countries discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, and also exchanged views on issues of the regional agenda.

Nursultan Nazarbayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed the agreement on holding the next Working (Consultative) Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States in Tashkent next year.

The parties noted the importance of coordinating the preparation of this event at the level of the foreign affairs agencies of the countries of the region.
