During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two organizations and development of football in Uzbekistan, as well as implementation of joint projects.

The parties discussed the possibility of holding international events and tournaments in Uzbekistan, as well as world championships for girls up to 17 and 20 years old. The head of the UFF expressed readiness to organize one of the specialized forums or the FIFA Congress in Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the parties discussed the implementation of the "Forward" program, within which Uzbekistan will receive US$5 million.

The funds will be used to conduct the activities of the federation, administrative and managerial activities, holding republican competitions, improving the work of the website and others.

Football governing bodies signed a contract for US$1.5 million for implementation of special projects in 2017-2018.

FIFA will also provide UFF funds for US$1 million to cover the expenses of the Federation for implementation of special projects in 2016.

Umid Ahmajonov asked FIFA’s assistance in inviting legends and current stars of world football to Uzbekistan for conducting master classes and coaches for conducting theoretical and practical classes.

Also, the Uzbek side requested assistance in establishing cooperation between football clubs of Uzbekistan and European countries for purpose of holding joint training camps and sharing experiences.

UFF head Umid Akhmadjonov invited FIFA President Gianni Infantino to visit Uzbekistan. The head of FIFA accepted the invitation.
