President ratifies agreement on use of airspace of Uzbekistan and Russia by military aircraft of two countries

 Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 March, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On ratifying the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Russian Federation on use of the airspace of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation by military aircraft of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation (Tashkent, 12 October 2018)”.

The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on 18 February and approved by the Senate on 28 February.

The Ministers of Defense of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation signed this document on 12 October 2018.

The agreement determines the procedure for the use of the airspace of the receiving state by the air forces of the sending state in non-stop flights.
