Department of information and print of Russian Foreign Ministry said that Sergei Lavrov will pay a visit to Uzbekistan in 17-18 December 2012.

During his visit to Uzbekistan, Sergei Lavrov will also hold negotiations with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov.

The sides are planning to discuss actual issues of bilateral relations, current affairs and perspectives of foreign political and trade-economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.

They will also exchange opinion on key international issues, including issues related at ensuring stability and security in Central Asia, combating new threats and challenges.
