Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the sidelines of the UN Climate Conference in Baku, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala.
The meeting focused on further developing Uzbek-Czech relations and deepening practical cooperation in priority areas.
The Czech Republic remains a key European partner for Uzbekistan. In recent years, trade volumes between the two countries have doubled, while the number of joint enterprises and projects has tripled.
The leaders emphasized the importance of activating the Intergovernmental Commission, drafting a "roadmap" to boost trade, and establishing a program for industrial cooperation with specific projects.
Particular attention was also given to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic.
