President of Uzbekistan congratulates the Nation on Eid al-Fitr

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the blessed holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

He expressed deep respect and warm wishes to the entire nation, emphasizing the spiritual and moral significance of this sacred day.

The head of state noted that Islam, as a religion of high humanistic values, resonates with the ongoing transformations in New Uzbekistan. He underlined that the country has created all necessary conditions for Muslims to freely perform religious rites and prayers, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. This period has been marked by spiritual purification, tolerance, gratitude, and a commitment to good deeds.

The president highlighted that during Ramadan, numerous charitable initiatives were carried out across Uzbekistan, aimed at supporting low-income families, the elderly, people living alone, and individuals with disabilities. Community efforts also included housing and neighborhood improvements, large-scale tree planting, and the creation of new parks. He stressed that such traditions strengthen the atmosphere of peace, friendship, and compassion in society.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also underscored the importance of science, knowledge, and enlightenment in Islam. In recent years, Uzbekistan has been actively studying and promoting the vast scientific and spiritual heritage of Islamic civilization.

In this regard, the country has been developing and expanding scientific and educational centers, religious educational institutions, and sacred pilgrimage sites, reflecting Uzbekistan’s spiritual progress.

The president extended his congratulations not only to Uzbek citizens at home but also to compatriots living abroad, wishing them well. He also sent friendly greetings to Muslims around the world.

Concluding his address, Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished the people of Uzbekistan health, happiness, and prosperity, as well as the fulfillment of all good intentions and prayers made during Ramadan.

"May the Almighty protect our homeland and our people! Happy Eid al-Fitr!" said the President of Uzbekistan.
