President Nursultan Nazarbaev welcomed the President of Uzbekistan at Astana Airport.

During the meetings and talks, the heads of state are expected to discuss enhancement of bilateral cooperation, exchange views on pressing regional and international issues.

The two sides plan to adopt a Joint Statement and sign a series of bilateral documents dedicated to further the interaction between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in diverse areas.
