Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 November, during the Turkic States Organization summit in Bishkek, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in a designated residence.
The discussions focused on strengthening Uzbek-Hungarian relations through strategic and multi-faceted cooperation. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with recent progress, noting increased trade turnover and enhanced industrial collaboration. Efforts to establish an industrial park in Tashkent region are also advancing. In October, the first Regional Forum was held in Kokand, and further joint cultural events are scheduled for this month in Budapest.
The leaders highlighted the need to create a new portfolio of trade, economic, and investment projects, involving key companies from both nations. Additionally, they exchanged views on pressing regional issues, underscoring their commitment to deepening partnership across various sectors.
