President of Turkmenistan to visit Uzbekistan

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov delivered a report on preparation of the official visit of the Turkmen leader to Uzbekistan on 24-26 November 2013.

It was noted that Turkmen-Uzbek negotiations at high level will be held in Tashkent within the visit.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that upcoming visit to Uzbekistan, will open new chapter in history of constructive inter-state dialogue. He gave concrete orders to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on preparation to the visit.

Turkmen leader underlined constructive development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations in all spheres and said that friendship and good neighborhood, historically common culture, spirit and humanitarian values serve as firm bases for effective cooperation.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said the visit will help to implement existing solid potential of cooperation and expand multilateral partnership, which is based on equality and mutual benefit.
