Speaking at the session, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov called to pay special attention to preparation of documents, which will be signed in the result of the visit.

According to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan made up US$196.1 million, which is up by 5.6% year-on-year. At the same time, exports of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan reached US$120.8 million in 2010, while imports reached US$75.3 million.

Uzbekistan exports services, foods, equipment, vehicles, glasses, ferrous metals and products from them, and chemical products.

Turkmenistan, in its turn, exports plastic and plastic goods, services, mineral products and non-organic chemical products.
