Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by the President of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Ari Grasso has arrived in Uzbekistan.

The honorary guest was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, First Deputy Chairman of the Volleyball Federation of Uzbekistan, Major General Bekmurod Abdullaev, the Deputy Minister of Sports Shahruhllo Mahmudov, as well as representatives of the National Olympic Committee and the country’s Volleyball Federation.

During the visit, discussions are planned regarding prospective plans for the development of volleyball in Uzbekistan, its popularization, the qualification enhancement of local specialists, and the organization of major international competitions in the future. Ari Grasso is accompanied by four specialists working within the FIVB.
