Uzbek President signed an order “On awarding members of Uzbekistan youth team on football” on 11 July 2011.

According to the document, delegation of Uzbekistan, which participated at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico, will be awarded with “O’zbekiston Respublikasi mustaqilligiga 20 yil” memorable sign.

The document said that the delegation was awarded for worthy participation at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico, great contribution to raising authority and prestige of the country in international arena, as well as displaying the brightest qualities of harmonically developed generation, brought up during independence years.

At the same time, Uzbekistan head coach Aleksei Evstafeev and senior coach of team Ahmadjon Musaev were awarded with Chevrolet Lacetti automobiles.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov also awarded Chevrolet Spark to 13 members of Uzbekistan U-17. In particular, new cars will be handed over to Ganisher Holmuradov (goalkeeper), Sardor Rahmanov (defender), Javlon Mirabdullaev (defender), Muhsinjon Ubaydullaev (defender), Ravshanjon Haydarov (defender), Asiljon Mansurov (defender), Abbosbek Mahsitaliev (midfielder), Sardor Sobirkhodjaev (midfielder), Davlatbek Yorbekov (midfielder), Bobir Davlatov (midfielder), Azizbek Muratov (midfielder), Holmurod Holmuradov (midfielder) and Timur Hakimov (forward).

Uzbekistan U-17 participated in the World Cup for the first time and reached quarterfinals of the tournament.
