Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, a separate tax officer will be responsible for solving the problem of each entrepreneur. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting in Tashkent region on 2 August.
As noted, tax officials in mahallas will work with micro-businesses whose annual turnover does not exceed 1 billion soums and help them solve problems.
Heads of district tax inspections and their deputies will work with small businesses with a turnover of up to 10 billion soums.
The heads of the tax departments of the regions and their deputies will provide assistance to medium-sized businesses with a turnover of up to 100 billion soums.
With large businesses with a turnover of over 100 billion soums), the deputy chairmen of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan will work.
It was also noted that from 1 September 2023, entrepreneurs will not submit reports on land and property taxes. This will be done by tax officials assigned to mahallas.
From 1 January 2024, the tax authorities must introduce an electronic reporting system for small businesses and farms.
