Uzbek President approved measures for further development of national cinema, structure of central apparatus of the National Agency “Uzbekkino”, typical structures of the agency “Korakalpokkino”, as well as the regional and Tashkent city departments, structure of the state unitary enterprise "Respublika Kinofundi".

The President of Uzbekistan organized the Creative Union of Cinematographers of Uzbekistan under the "Uzbekkino".

The document noted that in 2018, 20 full-length feature films will be produced in the country and from 2020 - 30 films a year.

At the same time, it is planned to produce 20 of 40 parts of documentary, popular science, educational and methodical films, film almanacs, newsreels in 2018, 25 out of 50 parts in 2019 and 30 of 60 from 2020.

The resolution said that production of animated films is of importance in the education of the younger generation: in 2018 - 15, from 2022 - 50.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to form the National Cinematography Development Fund for development of national cinema based on modern requirements, support for young filmmakers.

The President approved the creation of regional cultural and entertainment complexes, which in their composition will have small film studios and cinemas in a new format.

Also, measures will be taken to create conditions for training young professionals in foreign leading educational institutions on a regular basis.
