Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 February 2019, a presentation of the project “Bolalik kunlarimda” (“Days of my childhood”) was held at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The project is carried out on the initiative and support of the Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Pre-school Education.
The main goal of the project is to preserve and transfer samples of folklore to future generations, creating an audio version of Uzbek folk tales.
Audio fairy-tales recorded in a professional studio are regularly broadcast at a certain time on a special telegram channel “Bolalik kunlarimda”.
A team of specialists worked on the creation of an audio version of folk tales, which included translators, editors, children’s psychologists, sound producers, and actors.
“In the future, for the popularization of audio fairy tales, for effective study of foreign languages by children and expanding their horizons, it is planned to create audio versions of fairy tales of the peoples of the world, including in English,” the General Director of the Agency Komil Allamjonov noted. “And we also want to create audio versions of Uzbek folk tales in other languages in order to promote the cultural heritage of our people throughout the world.”
At the event, it was noted that the versions of audio screenshots will be created taking into account children with disabilities in the framework of the project “Ko’ngil ko’zi”, which is carried out in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 4, 2019.
During the presentation, the participants listened to the first fairy tale “Zumrad and Qimmat” voiced within the project.
At present, the project’s founders have loaded 5 fairy tales in Uzbek and Russian into the telegram channel. Starting today, one new tale in both languages will be available free of charge every three days.
At the end of the month, 10 tales will be released on CDs.
To acquaint children with folklore creativity, to cultivate in them a sense of belonging with the history of their country, using modern technology, is an effective and interesting way.
Audio fairy-tales will certainly have a positive impact on the upbringing of our children, the improvement of their language skills and speech, the development of thinking, logic, imagination, and the strengthening of family traditions.
In the future, it is planned to integrate audio fairy-tales into the educational process and use them as a teaching aid on subjects related to the formation of a personality.
