Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 April, the premiere performance of "Tiger" will be held at the State Academic Russian Drama Theater of Uzbekistan.

The production based on the one-act play by Murray Shizgal is dedicated to human relationships, the complex world of emotions, hopes, ideas that fills the life of everyone, even the most simple and understandable at first glance, person.

The performance is able to give the viewer very personal feelings and conclusions, because the author of the play treats his hero ambiguously - ironically over him and at the same time sympathizing with his loneliness and experiences.

The Russian drama is making wonderful experiments, presenting original and very diverse theatrical works to Tashkent lately. Suffice it to say that Murray Shizgal came to playwriting with experience as a lawyer and jazz musician. He became one of those young screenwriters who were put forward by the New York small theaters located "off Broadway" in the early 60s of the twentieth century. The one-act plays The Tiger and The Typists brought the playwright unanimous critical acclaim and the Vernon Rice Award for Best Work.
