Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The French Embassy in Uzbekistan, in partnership with the State Honored Folk Dance Ensemble "Bakhor" named after M. Turgunbaeva and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, is organizing an exhibition of photographs by Bobur Alimkhodjaev.

The photographer presents his works capturing various landscapes and architectural monuments of French cities. In addition to Paris, which he considers “imbued with art,” he visited cities such as Bourges and Voiron. For this exhibition, he used a film camera for some of his photographs to better "reflect reality." The exhibition will be held at the Tashkent House of Photography from 3 July to 12 July 2024.

Bobur Alimkhodjaev spent his childhood in Tashkent, in a mahalla called the “House of Artists,” where such luminaries as Chingiz Akhmarov, Javlon Umarbekov, Bakhodir Jalolov and sculptor Damir Ruzibaev lived. 

Bobur Alimkhodjaev graduated from the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Bekhzod. He is interested in impressionism and studied the works of Claude Monet, Edouard Manet, Edgar Degas and Renoir. Beaubourg prefers to capture the art of choreography, drawing inspiration from Edgar Degas, who skillfully captured the elegance and beauty of classical dance, as well as the unique movements of the dancers.

While in France, he visited several museums, including the Orangerie to admire Claude Monet's painting "Water Lilies", the Orsay Museum, which displays works by Edgar Degas illustrating the art of ballet, the Pompidou Center, the Rodin and Picasso museums.
