Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Chairperson of the National Commission on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Decent Work Tanzila Narbaeva is in Geneva (Switzerland) to participate in the 112th session of the International Labor Conference.

During a dialogue with the Director of the ILO Bureau for Workers’ Affairs, Maria Helena Andre, issues of protecting the labor rights of workers and strengthening their social protection were discussed.

Along with this, an exchange of views took place regarding improving the skills and potential of specialists by creating educational programs together with the ILO.

In connection with the active development of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan, the increasing share of the private sector and the interest of international brands in the Uzbekistan market, attention is also focused on the development of the trade union movement in private enterprises.
