Nitrogen fertilizers allocated for cotton will be delivered to consumers in full
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Nitrogen fertilizers allocated for cotton will be delivered to consumers in full, Rustambek Eshbekov, head of the information service of Uzkimyosanoat JSC, announced.
It is noted that for 2022, 555.9 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers will be purchased for grain and cotton crops through exchange trading, including 272 thousand tons for grain and 283.9 thousand tons for cotton, as well as 96.1 thousand tons of phosphate and 50 thousand tons of potash fertilizers.
As of 23 June, 653.3 thousand tons (in pure form) of mineral fertilizers were supplied to consumers of the republic through exchange trading.
This year, 10.0 thousand tons more nitrogen fertilizers were supplied for the grain harvest, as well as 20 days earlier compared to the previous year 2021.
At present, 256.2 thousand tons (90%) of nitrogen fertilizers in pure form have been supplied to cotton through exchange auctions. Until 30 June, nitrogen fertilizers allocated for cotton will be supplied in full.
