Tashkent region to direct 1.56 trln. soums to development of road-transport infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent region of Uzbekistan will direct over 1.56 trillion soums to develop road-transport, engineering-communication and social infrastructure in 2013-2015.
President of Uzbekistan signed a resolution on measures on developing road-transport, engineering-communication and social infrastructure in 2013-2015 in Tashkent region in August 2013.
According to the UzA, the programme will be financed due to resources of the state and local budgets, commercial banks, enterprises and organizations, entrepreneurs and sponsors, as well as population.
During the implementation of the programme, it is also planned to develop telecommunication infrastructure.
It is planned to install 19 basic stations for 1.674 billion soums in Yangiyul, Chinaz, Kibray, Yuqori Chirchiq districts and Chirchiq city to improve mobile communication system. The state bodies recently approved design estimates of the project.
