Delays in fuel supplies caused queues at petrol stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Delays in delivery of fuel and lubricants led to queues at some petrol stations in Uzbekistan, Uzneftmahsulot joint stock company said.
Uzneftmahsulot said that information, published in some internet editions, alleging deficit of petroleum and hike of the prices for gasoline, do not correspond to reality.
The company said that delays in delivery of fuel and lubricant products caused queues at some petrol stations in Uzbekistan, including in Tashkent city, last weekends.
The company said that wagons with fuel got stuck at Bukhara railway station. Similar situation can be observed in Angren station as well.
In this connection, Uzneftmahsulot said it is adopting all necessary measures to eliminate temporary problems to ensure that demands of population to petroleum are fully satisfied.
The company called the population do not panic and believe to various rumors on deficit of petroleum and growth of prices.
