Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Open joint stock company “Uzbek Metallurgy Combine” (Uzmetkombinat) increased its net income from 78.699 billion soums in 2011 to 95.836 billion soums in 2012.
The annual report of the company said that net revenue grew from 719.77 billion soums in 2011 to 832.65 billion soums in 2012. Expenses made up 568.676 billion soums in 2012 against 506.703 billion soums in 2011.
Uzmetkombinat’s expenses exceeded 175.161 billion soums in 2012 against 131.544 billion soums in 2011.
Income from financial activities made up 9.768 billion soums in 2012 against 6.689 billion soums in 2011. Expenses from financial activities grew from 1.434 billion soums in 2011 to 3.094 billion soums in 2012.
The assets grew from 479.554 billion soums in 2011 to 586.935 billion soums in 2012, the report said. The charter capital rose from 113.636 billion soums to 152.591 billion soums in the reporting period.
Uzmetkombinat has been established in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan No. 159 from 24 March 1994 through re-organization of the state enterprise. It is largest non-ferrous metallurgy plant in Central Asia, which works on metal scrap.
The enterprise specializes on processing ferrous metal scraps, production and realization of special iron, as well as other metal products and consumer goods.
The charter capital of Uzmetkombinat is 152.592 billion soums, which is divided into 40,155,778 shares with the par value of 3,800 soums.
Shareholders of Uzmetkombinat are the government (72.01%), labour (6.3%), legal entities (16.68%) and other individuals (5.01%).
