The contest was organized by UNDP Uzbekistan and International and youth tourism agency “Kelajak-Tur” in 2012. It was directed at promoting regional tourism.
The training was aimed at improving skills and knowledge, which are necessary in implementation of their tourism projects.
The contest was held in 2012 and the contest sought to promote remarkable sights of Uzbek towns, regions and districts through social networks. Over 70 projects were submitted to the contest and 30 of them were named as the best.
Each project author received notebook, camera and free access to Internet for six months, which will help to implement their projects.
The winners of the contest attended the first of three planned trainings, which will be held in next six months.
During the first training, the trainers provided basic skills on effective use of social networks, gave advices on taking photos, develop interesting online information materials and promo-video, etc.
