The traditional contest among entrepreneurs, farmers and craftsmen was organized by the Commerce and Industry Chamber in collaboration with the Farms Association and the Hunarmand craftsmen association.

The “Tashabbus-2012” review contest was attended by more than 1,000 participants than in the previous year. Business marathon lasted a month, first at the level of districts and cities, then regions in order to gather the most enterprising (41 people) from all regions of the country in the final.

Winners have been selected in three main categories: “Best Entrepreneur of the Year”, “Best Farmer of the Year” and “Best Craftsman of the Year”. Seven special nominations were introduced: “Young entrepreneur of the year”, “Best Woman Entrepreneur of the Year”, “Best innovation project”, “Best employer for young people”, “Best family business”, “My homeland – my pride” and “Best craftsman to create a school ‘teacher – student’”.

The award for the “Best Entrepreneur of the Year” went to Kholiskhon Boboyeva, the head of “Jizzah-Kuhinu” private company. The enterprise processes raw silk and produces atlas, adras and other silk fabrics.

The award for the “Best Farmer of the Year” went to Ibrohim Kholyorov, the head of a farm of “Baht”. The farm specializes on breeding cattle and processes milk.

Mirzomashur Akrmov from Rishtan district of Ferghana region won in nomination “Best Craftsman of the Year”. He produces over 30 types of ceramic products.

The winners received Chevrolet Spark cars. Diplomas and awards are handed over winners and prize-winners of contest “Tashabbus-2012”. The victory at competition grants the winners the right to participation in the international competitions, fairs, seminars, improvement of professional skill abroad.
