Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 March, at 06:00 local time, an aircraft of the Russian airline Pobeda, en route from Moscow to Samarkand, landed at Samarkand International Airport.
According to tradition, the plane was solemnly greeted with a water arch, and the crew and passengers were greeted with the sounds of karnay and surnay.
It is planned that air communication on the route Moscow - Samarkand - Moscow will be operated twice a week - on Fridays and Mondays.
Pobeda is a Russian low-cost airline, a subsidiary of the Aeroflot-Russian Airlines group, headquartered at Vnukovo Airport (Moscow).
