Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The plenary meeting of the Russian-Uzbek Subcommittee on Geology, Mineral Resource Development, and Extraction of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan took place, according to the press service of the Ministry of Geology.

The meeting addressed the status of the Russian-Uzbek subcommittee on geology, mineral resource development, and extraction, the systematization and analysis of geological information using artificial intelligence methods, collaboration in creating a digital geological information bank, and other issues related to mineral resource management in Uzbekistan.

At the end of the event, Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology A. Kadirhodzhaev and Head of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use of the Russian Federation Y. Petrov signed the protocol of the subcommittee meeting.
