Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry between the Agency’s Director, Abdulla Azizov, and representatives of South Korean company New&New and Uzbek enterprise Mehrigiyo.

During the discussions, the parties explored the prospects for localizing the production of more than 10 types of cosmetic products in Uzbekistan.

The joint production plan was positively received by the Agency’s leadership, which expressed its full support for the initiative’s implementation.

Participants were also presented with a detailed overview of the Tashkent Pharma Park innovation and production cluster, highlighting the available infrastructure and favorable conditions for investors.

The companies are expected to soon submit a comprehensive business plan to the Agency. Once approved, the next steps for implementing the agreements and launching production will be coordinated.
