People’s Bank acquired 72,000 corporate bonds of Uzpromstroybank or 72% of the issue. The bank did not disclose the sum of the deal.

As earlier reported, the Center for coordination and control over functioning of securities market under the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan registered the prospectus of emission of the bank on placement of the corporate bonds on 10 August 2012.

Within the emission, the bank places 100,000 corporate bonds with par value of 100,000 soums each.

Maturity term of the bonds is 3,640 calendar days. The coupon is equal to refinancing rate of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, which is equal to 12% APR. The coupon will be paid each quarter.
