UzA reported that the software was developed to create single information base for receivers of pension and allowances.

Introduction of automated processes of assigning and payment of pensions will allow to improve efficiency of the Fund, help to form timely and correct reports, strengthen control over use of resources of the fund with avoiding human factor at assignment and payment of pensions.

Currently, over 2.9 million receivers of pensions and social allowances covered with this product. For more than 6 months, 29 branches of Pension Fund in Tashkent city and Tashkent region assign and pay pensions and social allowances with help of this software.

From 1 April 2012, all regional and city branches of Pension Fund will start to assign and pay pensions and social allowances with use of the software.

In next stage of its introduction, it is planned to connect Treasury of Finance Ministry, Uzbekistan Pochtasi, People’s Bank, commercial banks, State Tax Committee and State Statistics Committee.

It is planned to introduce special services for pensioners. In particular, pensioners will be able to receive records on their pensions via email, SMS and email-services on notification of pension raise, pension calculator, information notifications, etc.
