Pedagogical Grants Program to start on 1 October

The grants are handed over to teachers for developing lessons with use of modern interactive methods of education, preparation of modules, educational events, writing books and literacture.

Fund Forum said that it will receive applications till 1 December 2013. The teachers have at least two month to prepare project and collect necessary documents.

The grants are issued on three directions – to teachers of general schools, who have higher education decree and three-year work experience, teachers of academic lyceums, colleges and universities, who have higher education decree and five-year work experience, and heads of educational establishments.

The winners of previous Pedagogical Grants Programs have no right to participate at the contest. Only individual applications will be accepted.

The winners of the first two directions will receive monthly remuneration within an academic year and the winners of the third direction will receive a grant as lump sum to implement a project in education sphere.

Pedagogical Grants Program has been organized since 2006. Within the framework of the project monetary encouragements are given to teachers and scientific employees, and also grants are allocated for realization of innovative projects in the education field. Since 2006 the Project has involved 6632 teachers. 347 of them have become winners. Totally 261.74 million soums were allocated.
