Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan reduced fees for re-registration of vehicles and their trailers, (semi-trailers), electric vehicles and motor vehicles.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan Pulata Bobojonova signed a corresponding order on 3 May.
From 1 April, rates for registration and re-registration of cars increased from 10% of basic estimated value (34 thousand soums) to 6.84 sizes of basic estimated value (2.32 million soums), and for electric vehicles - to 1.5 sizes of basic estimated value (1.15 million soums ).
After the increase, car registration costs increased to almost 5 million soums.
With the new order, the fee for re-registration of cars and electric vehicles was reduced and returned to 10% of the basic estimated value.
At the same time, the increased registration fees - 6.84 sizes of basic estimated value for cars and 1.5 sizes of basic estimated value for electric vehicles - remained in force.
